On December 2, law enforcement officers in Zaporozhye received a message that in one of the grocery stores in the city, an unknown person stole a phone from a 50-year-old resident of the city.
The police looked at the security cameras and found the burglar. It turned out to be a 28-year-old resident of Melitopol, who had previously had problems with the law and temporarily lived in Zaporozhye. Within a few hours, law enforcement officers established the suspect’s place of residence and detained him.

The mobile gadget was seized by the police and after the necessary investigative actions it will be returned to the owner.
The detainee is charged with a crime under Part 4 of Art. 186 (Robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The issue of informing the defendant about suspicion is being resolved.
For the committed crime, the suspect is facing up to ten years in prison.
